Rent vs. own

Stop renting your store. Own it.

Third-party platforms charge you every month, on every sale, for every extra feature. Your own store doesn't.

Third-party platforms

You rent the store

  • Recurring monthly fees
  • Transaction charges on your sales
  • Paid apps that add up
  • Limited flexibility in design and checkout
  • Your store lives on their terms

Your own store

You own the store

  • One-time setup, no platform subscription
  • Hosted on your own server
  • Custom CMS for your business
  • Checkout and features built the way you sell
  • You own your customer data

You still pay for hosting and your payment processor's standard card fees (for example, Stripe or PayPal). There's no platform subscription and no platform transaction fee on top.

How it works

From kickoff to launch in 25 days.

  1. Days 1–5

    Plan and design

We agree on scope, features and integrations, then design your store for approval.

  2. Days 6–18

    Build and migrate

Storefront, custom CMS and checkout get built, and your products and customers move over.

  3. Days 19–24

    Test everything

Orders, payments, emails, speed and every device, checked before anything goes live.

  4. Day 25

    Go live

Your store launches with redirects in place, and your team gets trained on the CMS.

The 25-day timeline starts once scope and content are approved. Very large catalogs or complex integrations can take longer, and we confirm your timeline before work starts.

FAQ

Questions store owners ask

How much does a custom e-commerce store cost?

It depends on your catalog size, features and integrations. Tell us what you need and we'll send a clear quote for a one-time build, with no monthly platform subscription afterwards.

Will I still pay transaction fees?

You pay your payment processor's standard card fees, for example Stripe or PayPal, as you would anywhere. There's no extra platform transaction fee and no platform subscription.

Where is my store hosted, and who owns it?

Your store runs on your own server or cloud account. The store, your customer data and the hosting account are yours.

Can you migrate my store from Shopify, WooCommerce or another platform?

Yes. We move your products, customers and order history, and set up redirects from your old URLs so you keep your search traffic.

Can I really go live in 25 days?

Our standard launch plan is 25 days from approved scope and content. Very large catalogs or complex integrations can take longer, and we confirm your timeline before we start.

Can my team manage the store without a developer?

Yes. Your custom CMS lets your team add products, update prices and inventory, manage orders and edit pages. We train your team at launch.

What happens after launch?

We offer ongoing maintenance, updates and growth support, including SEO and marketing. Or your own team can take it from there.
